Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my first glimps of 2005. Like everyone else I had a set plan on where and with whom I'd be celebrating it with. Yet somehow, it felt as though I never did let go of 2004. It's as though, I never did give it a good closure. If that just made any sense at all! haha!

Basically, I learnt a lot throughout 2004. Maybe because I made a lot of sthupid mistakes throughout the year as well. Mistakes are good - in the sense that when you finally wake up from it - you learn a little, you grow a little more than before...well... provided if you ever do wake up from it, ya? Yet, I guess at times we choose not to since we have so comfortably adapted to that particular lifestyle. Maybe that's how the line curiousity kills the cat got invented, ya? haha!

2005 didn't exactly give me a good push of motivation. Firstly my Mac (at work) decided to die on me and I didn't know how to resuscitate it! To add to the frustration, I had a dateline on thursday (6.1.05) and couldn't do anything about it. I had to work late 2 days in a row, plus I was feeling a wee bit depressed throughout that week somehow, maybe due to the viral fever that I'm having. It got bad on Thursday so I decided to call it quits with work and went to the doctors with elaine on Friday - which flushed a sum of money down the drain! *SIGH* Well... looking on the bright side, my Mac's all fixed. My hard disc is doubled with extra storage space as well! Plus, I'm feeling a wee bit better already...WooHoo to me then!
